Exciting Utah Dance Entertainment

The current crop of Utah’s Center Stage Dancers has evolved from a 25 year tradition of ballroom dance excellence. The hallmarks of the award-winning Center Stage Dancers are energy, enthusiasm, and exquisite lines. A Center Stage performance is always captivating. These youth rehearse incessantly to hone their skills to dance competitively on stages in New York and Las Angeles. Most of them plan to pursue a professional career in the arts and continue the legacy of their predecessors. That legacy includes:

1. Julianne Hough – Professional dancer with ABCs Dancing with the Stars for two seasons. She won each of the two seasons. Holds multiple titles in Dance. World Latin Ballroom Champion. Currently starring in major motion pictures.

2. Jared Murillo – Signed a multi-album recording contract with Warner Bros. Records and formed a boy band, “Vfactory”. Was a principle dancer and assistant choreography with Disney’s mega hits, High School Musical and High School Musical 2. Holds multiple titles in dance as the World and US Swing Champion and US Youth Latin Ballroom Champion.

3. Marie Osmond – Appeared on Dancing with the Stars this past season. Selected Center Stage Performing Arts Studios to train during her entire season on the show.

4. Ashly Del Grosso – Professional dancer with ABC’s Dancing with the Stars for three seasons. Appeared on Disney’s Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

5. Derek Hough – Professional dancer with ABC’s Dancing with the Stars for one season. World Latin Ballroom Champion.

6. Joshua Murillo – Appeared in High School Musical as a principle dancer.

7. Jason Celaya – Was a finalist in Fox’s Grease, You’re the One that I Want.

8. Andrea Hale – Professional dancer with Dancing with the Stars for season two. A national 10-dance ballroom champion.

9. Jaymz Tuaileva – Made top 20 in Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance.

10. Zack Wilson – Presently a finalist in ABC’s Dance Wars.

11. Afton Del Grosso – appeared in High School Musical, presently performing in Las Vegas, Cirque de Soliel. A three time national ballroom champion.

12. Roger Malaga – Appeared in High School Musical 1 & 2 as a principle dancer.

13. Sarah Aezer – Appeared in High School Musical 1 & 2 – had singing role in first show.

14. Stacy Bills – Appeared in Star Search and is a former Miss Utah.

15. Hefa Tuita – Just signed a contract with Nickelodeon to star in a TV series. Appeared in High School Musical 2 as a dancer.

16. Louis Van Amstel – Professional dancer, choreographer, and co-director for Dancing with the Stars for several seasons.

17. Emily Seegmiller – Recently cast as a principal dancer in the upcoming MTV movie, American Mall.

18. Chelsie Hightower- Professional dancer with ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance.
