Chance McKinney n’ Crosswire
Big man Chance McKinney stands tall at six-foot-six, but he stands even taller when he’s on Cloud Nine. In 2009, his career shot skyward when he was selected to participate in the CMT Music City Madness competition. One million votes later, Chance stole first place with his irresistible “Be Real,” and now he and his band, CrossWire, are crossing the country with a tight, energetic show that leaves audiences wanting more.
Chance and CrossWire are the next BIG THING in the country music field. This high-flying band has recently toured with some of the biggest names in the business, including Dwight Yoakam, Jamie O’Neal, Grand Funk Railroad, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Creedence Clearwater, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Rich, Sebastian Bach, Mark Chestnutt, Dierks Bentley, Edens Edge, Sunny Sweeney, David Nail, Gloriana, Phil Vassar, Steve Azar, and Alan Jackson. They have also shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, SheDaisy, Gary Allan, Pat Green, Montgomery Gentry, Brooks n’ Dunn, and have filmed a television special with Reba McEntire. Chance and CrossWire are headed straight to the top, so book them while you still can.
Originally from Montana, Chance migrated to the state of Washington, where he picked up drummer Brian Bujacich and guitar duo, Paul Schille and Ray Neyens and formed CrossWire. They’ve been charming audiences and tearing up stages in the Pacific Northwest for 5 years.
A recent move to Utah has introduced the Beehive state to Chance McKinney n’ CrossWire’s brand of “Industrialized Country,” which synthesizes the country sound with elements borrowed from rock, metal, and soul.
Don’t miss hearing the vocals that have been described as “deep, filthy, and syrup-drippin.’” Whatever that means, it’s sweet, and it’s got folks talkin.’ Come see what the buzz is about─ Be sure to catch Chance McKinney n’ CrossWire when they come to your town!
