Jenny’s latest release, Wish Upon a Star, is a magical tribute to the music of Walt Disney and was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best Pop Instrumental Album. Her recordings consistently appear at the top of the Billboard charts, and her Then Sings My Soul release ascended to number 1 on Billboard’s Top Classical Albums chart.
In addition to putting out best-selling albums, Jenny Oaks Baker is an impressive performance artist. She performed as a featured solo artist in the 1999 Easter Festival Concert at Carnegie Hall as well as a soloist at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, Coolidge Auditorium at the Library of Congress, and in Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center.
Jenny’s remarkable career has also included performances as a soloist with the Jerusalem Symphony, Utah Symphony, San Diego Symphony, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, an internationally acclaimed choir. She was also first violinist in the National Symphony Orchestra for 7 years, performed as a featured artist on national TV and radio broadcasts, and received the Governor’s Mansion Artist Award for excellence in artistic expression from Utah’s Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr.
Whether you’re lucky enough to experience Jenny’s music at a live performance or through one of her many albums, it’s impossible to escape the magic of her musical genius. Jenny is an exceptionally talented violinist and performer that always leaves a lasting impression with audiences at performance arts centers or other high-profile events. She performs as a soloist, with a small group, or a full symphony orchestra.
“We invited Jenny Oaks Baker to perform at the Nu Skin Woman to Woman luncheon which is held as part of the 2012 Americas Convention. In recent years we’ve had vocalists and a wide variety of performers as entertainment, but having Grammy-nominated Jenny Oaks Baker was unique and something very special. She is incredibly talented and all of the ladies attending the meeting were mesmerized by her abilities. Jenny and her staff were very professional and easy to work with. Our only regret is that she couldn’t keep playing all afternoon!” – Shelley Gardner, Events Manager, Nu Skin Enterprises
